In the Spring of 2008, the Delta Tau Chapter had over 20 women inducted into the Greek National Honor Society, Gamma Sigma Alpha at Colgate's annual Greek Awards banquet.
Scholarships
With the strength of its mission serving as a guide, Gamma Phi Beta expresses its desire to empower women through numerous avenues. The Sorority’s training and development programs include all-encompassing events such as Convention, Regional Leadership Conferences (RLCs), and Leadership Development Institute (LDI), to chapter programs such as PACE, the Complete Sister Program, and the dialogues that occur between Gamma Phi Beta sisters during the course of a day.
Gamma Phi Beta Sorority places a great deal of importance on scholarship and assists its members in reaching their academic goals at Colgate University. The Scholarship Chairwoman and her fellow officers are always willing to meet with members when needed. International Gamma Phi Beta and the Delta Tau House Corporation Board provide opportunities for financial assistance to members demonstrating interest. Each semester the House Corporation Board pays for the textbooks of members who earn a 4.0 grade point average the previous term. They also offer the Leslie A. Kempa Memorial Scholarship to women choosing to live in the Little Blue House.
